...Twenty years later, Charmaine has built a global company based on her high standard of ethics that serves an international clientele in 50+ countries and growing.

CHARMAINE

The Madison Collection, founded and created by visionary entrepreneur Charmaine T. Lang, a South African immigrant and single mother who spent months on the road selling cash registers and point of sales terminals. On one particular trip after working long days, missing her young son and home, she took a hot shower to ease her weariness.

As she wrapped herself in the scratchy hotel towel, Charmaine felt an immediate disconnect. While the shower was renewing, the towels were not

It is in this ‘aha’ moment, craving that comforting ‘feeling of home’ while on the road in 1999, The Madison Collection was born. She has since sought to recreate for hotel guests that feeling of wrapping one’s self in a cocoon of luxury and feeling suspended in time

Twenty years later, Charmaine has built a global company based on her high standard of ethics that serves an international clientele in 50+ countries and growing.

By maintaining her convictions, she is world renown for sourcing, designing, and manufacturing the finest in sustainable cotton towels, robes, and bath accessories in the industry whilst maintaining high standards of environmental and social responsibility

GILAD & MARISA

The Madison Collection becomes ‘next generation’ through Charmaine’s son Gilad Lang, the company’s vice president, in partnership with wife Marisa. Together they are pioneering the company’s evolutionary social impact and conscious creation of products that matter – Such as our collection of GOTS certified 100% organic loungewear, designed by Marisa.

“When it comes to practicing authentic social responsibility, we have taken a deep and truthful look at what impact we’re causing in the world and dedicate our resources to solutions. For example, while our towels are designed to use less natural resources, excess water usage is a big issue for the industry. For so many, clean and safe drinking water is a luxury when it should be a basic human right.”

The Madison Collection embraced human rights as its mission from the beginning. Life begins with water, which was the driving force in partnering with Wine to Water. This international, non-profit organization supports developing nations gain access to clean water.

Our commitment through the FEEL GOOD+ DO GOOD initiative is for each online bath robe order, we deliver one family in need (7+ people) in Haiti and The Dominican Republic with an in- home water filter, providing 7+ years of safe drinking and cooking water.
Since launching our FEEL GOOD DO GOOD initiative in 2017, over 5,000 community members have directly benefitted from 30% less sick days from school and work, 19% decrease in abuse of women and girls from twice daily water collection journeys, and 2+ hours a day of time saved to help families focus on what matters most to them.

For so many, clean and safe drinking water is a luxury when it should be a basic human right.”
